I'm so glad you've found yourself wandering across my little corner of the internet. Rest your weary feet, fold up your cloak, and take heart while I tell you my tale.

My name is Samantha, but all my life I've been called Sam. My story is a short one as I am only seventeen years of age, but it is filled with just as many hurts, regrets, sorrows, joys, and times of happiness as any other story.

I began life in a little house in the great state of Indiana. I don't remember it much as I was only four years old when I moved from the corn fields to the sandy grounds of Florida. It was in Florida that I began my journey as a writer, and it is in Florida that I currently reside. I was only a wee age of six when I penned my first short story, and although it was full of many grammar mistakes and eraser holes, it was and still is an inspiration to me. It was then that I thought I could make something of myself. It was then that I thought that I could write down everything from my point of view. It was then that I thought I could craft stories and legends and myths. And I didn't just think, I did!

For eleven years I've been writing. I've written so much that I now think of it as not only an enjoyable pastime, but something I must do, because I see people so differently. I see their hurts and aches and regrets, and I see their sorrows and pains. I see their celebrations and their accomplishments, even in the little things. I love the little tremors in their voice as they talk about something they are excited about, or the little habits they form when they are nervous. I love the light in their eyes as they gaze upon someone they love. I love people and the stories they carry, and I feel it is my job to write them all down.

I cannot take credit for anything I've done, for nothing I've done has really come from me. It is to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior that I owe all my accomplishments to. My life was dedicated to Jesus at the age of four, but it was at the age of fifteen that I truly realized what it meant to be saved. I am a sinner, but by the grace of the Almighty God, I've been washed clean. I fall short and sin on a daily basis, but I rest in the assurance that God is my refuge and strength, and I will always strive to glorify and give the credit back to Him. Because of this, my blog will always have a Christian influence to it.
